The Disaster Resilience for Pacific Small Island Developing States (RESPAC) project aims to improve Pacific SIDS resilience to climate-related hazards. This project responds directly to Outcome 5 of the UNDP Strategic Plan for 2014-2017 i.e "Countries are able to reduce the likelihood of conflict and lower the risk of natural disasters including from climate change."

The overall project goal is to effectively address the consequences of, and responses to, climate related hazards. More details are highlighted in the Project Brochure.
